A "Dolphin" that Saves Lives At Sea
On December 1st, a drill of Dolphin 1 Remote Control Lifebuoy was held at Marina Lanzarote, Spain, to publicize its operation to professionals linked to nautical activities and security and emergency bodies.
The life-saving vehicle works with electric propulsion, so it does not pollute the water with fossil fuels and can carry two to three people depending on its weight. It is controlled with a remote control, remotely from land, a ship or an oil rig. It offers the possibility of attaching accessories such as speakers, lights and cameras to improve operation.
Especially interesting for emergency personnel is that the life of rescuers is not put at risk, since it works without the need for a crew, although it is also possible to get into the vehicle if necessary.
